Interpreting Equipment Hire
Atlas Translations is able to supply interpreting equipment for hire in over 80 countries.
Soundproof booths and audio equipment are used to facilitate the interpreting
process and enable all delegates to understand and participate freely
in a conference or meeting.
As well as providing ISO 4043 standard interpreting booths for hire, we
can supply digital or infra-red headsets with up to 12 channels allowing
delegates to switch freely between languages. Other hire equipment includes
cordless headsets which can be used with any seating plan and will enable
delegates to move around the conference area.
Atlas Translations can also provide electronic voting systems for delegate
participation. The software-driven equipment allows the speaker to obtain
valuable feedback from the audience through multiple-choice questions,
opinion polling, quizzes or just simply voting for motions or resolutions.
For situations which require an interpreter to accompany a small group
of visitors, for example a tour of a customer's premises, Atlas Translations
can offer an interpreting tour guide system for hire. The equipment
is completely portable allowing the interpreter and visitors to walk
around in complete freedom. The interpreter speaks into a hand-held
microphone whilst delegates listen on lightweight cordless headphones.
This interpreting equipment is also suitable for use during conferences
when only a small number of delegates require interpretation, as the
interpreter can whisper into the microphone without distracting other
participants.
Prices include transportation of the interpreting equipment, installation,
dismantling and an experienced technician in attendance at all times.

Case Study
Along with ten simultaneous interpreters, London-based Atlas Translations provided
simultaneous interpreting equipment for a multinational journalism conference. With
our experienced technicians on hand, we supplied an infra-red interpretation
system, five sound-proofed booths for the interpreters and one hundred infra-red
receivers for the delegates. After the event, the conference organiser
commented “I could not have expected a service more effective and more efficiently
delivered and I am extremely grateful to you and all your staff."
