ITI Conference 2017

ITI Member, ITI Conference, 2017, Atlas Translations,

It doesn’t seem like 2 years ago, but incredibly it’s time again for ITI Conference – and we can’t wait! So we’ll be packing our bags and heading Cardiff next week, if you’re coming along please say hello, or contact us to arrange a quick chat. This year key note speakers include Lane Greene and Susie Dent, and special guest Nia Griffith MP, with a packed programme of events crammed into some very busy days (and evenings)! There’s even an introductory Welsh lesson, and we now know that “Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch” is the longest place name in the United Kingdom. We hope to see you at ITI Conference 2017.  Here’s a reminder of how Stefania enjoyed and learned so much from ITI Conference 2015 in Newcastle:”

ITI Conference 2015

It was with great pleasure that I took part in the ITI Conference 2015 last week in Newcastle. It was actually my first time and it was definitely worth it!  I had the opportunity to meet lovely people who all work within the translation industry, some of them as suppliers, some others are running their own business and it looks like they are all part of a big family where everyone needs one other to improve the quality of his own work.

I think there is so much to take in from this event, not just because it’s the biggest one and the most popular in UK for Translation and Interpreting, but because you actually have the chance to meet all the experts in the sector, listen to their speeches, see how they interact with the audience, sharing different points of view and learn from all of them. It’s just amazing!

I really enjoyed my time at the Conference and I think Newcastle is also a very nice location worthy of hosting an event of this kind. I would definitely recommend this experience to everyone who works within the translation and interpreting industry.
