The name’s Millward. Alex Millward.

We are delighted to welcome Alex Millward to the Atlas team as our new Project Manager 🎉

Nope, nobody left; we just got busier and needed more hands on deck. Anna Davis and Rhys Stevenson are particularly chuffed as Alex is a fellow northerner.

What we know about him so far:

🎯 He once pursued darts player Darryl Fitton through a supermarket carpark just to say hello—they ended up chatting for 40 or so minutes (that’s northerners, for you!)

⚽ He’s a fan of footballer Duncan Ferguson (for his football skills, not for the other thing).

🐷 He referred to himself as falling somewhere between Daddy Pig (from Peppa Pig) and Mary Berry, which makes for quite a surreal image. Alex went on to explain that Daddy Pig was due to the ages of his children (and presumably 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 preferred TV viewing, not his), while Mary Berry was because of his love of all things pudding- and cake-related.

🕺 When asked what song would get him on the dancefloor, his answer was “Mysterious Girl” by Peter André. It’s okay, we’ve forgiven him.

The Fair Payment Code (FPC) sets standards for best payment practices and is administered by the Small Business Commissioner on behalf of the Department for Business and Trade (DBT). The Gold Award is awarded to those paying at least 95% of all invoices within 30 days.

Cyber Essentials is a Government-backed certification scheme that helps protect organisations’ and customers’ data from cyber attacks. The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) recommends Cyber Essentials as the minimum cybersecurity standard for all organisations.
