Amy Watts

Project Manager

In The Beginning…

Amy Watts joined Atlas Translations as a Project Manager with a background in luxury hospitality and events management. A seasoned traveller, Amy loves any opportunity to explore and has spent time living in Canada, Argentina and Spain.

After a stint in Buenos Aires and Barcelona and with newly honed Spanish language skills, Amy turned their attention to a career in the translation industry with an MA in Translation Studies to their name.

Project Management and Languages

Amy Watts quickly realised how a role as a Project Manager could align their passion for languages with their natural people skills. Life for Amy has taken on a different tone as a parent. Amy relishes the variety of work at Atlas HQ, being able to connect with a diverse range of people globally—all without leaving the house!

Change is Good

In the summer of 2023, Amy made the big move north to Manchester with their family. Although always Devon at heart, Amy enjoys getting to know the different communities, cultures, and languages that their new city has to offer.

Thank you for your kindness, help, and prompt efficient service.

Clare’s review of my CV was incredibly helpful, thorough, and added a lot of value to it. She also gave a good look at my LinkedIn profile and website, pointing out their strengths and weaknesses, from the point of view of an experienced professional who runs a successful LSP. And she did all that while raising funds for the Fairlynch Museum! I am very grateful for Clare’s comments and a huge admirer of the work she does helping translators and her community. Thank you, Clare!

I highly recommend Atlas Translations. They helped me out with the translation of tax documents. They provide a quick and reliable service. And I would 100 % use them again next time I need a document translated. Special thanks to Stefania who has been of great help.
