Atlas Translations’ Work Placement Scheme

Looking for a work placement this summer? Are you interested in gaining experience in a fast-paced and exciting working environment? Would you like to learn more about what it’s really like to work as a project manager, marketing professional or translation expert? Are you looking for the perfect role to develop your skills and build your career prospects?

If any of those sound like the right thing for you, a work placement with Atlas Translations could be right up your street! We’re looking for driven and passionate individuals who want to gain amazing experience as part of the hard-working team at our St. Albans office. 

Creating New Opportunities

We are offering two 3-month work placements this year, running from June to September, and September to December. Successful candidates will work full-time in our St. Albans office, working alongside our team to discover the ins-and-outs of a certified translations agency. 

This is a hands-on placement where you’ll be able to gain meaningful experience in a wide variety of the areas and services we operate in. A placement such as this one could be a perfect first step if you’re looking to explore a career in project management, client negotiation or translation services.

As part of the placement, you’ll be working in a real-life translation environment, learning from our professional team day in, day out. You’ll be able to develop the skills and traits that will help you to stand out from the crowd when it comes to future opportunities. 

Previous participants in the scheme have enjoyed the absorbing nature of the programme; our friendly team offers a personal touch that can help you pinpoint the useful skills to be a success in the placement scheme and beyond. We’re a close-knit team, with plenty of opportunities for mentoring and training support. 

We’re looking for highly creative and proactive candidates who are looking for a highly engaging and exciting placement role. You’ll receive a living wage of £9.90 an hour, whilst you enjoy a stepping stone to further roles in project management. You’ll learn how to apply the real-life skills needed to discover exciting pathways in your field.

Successful candidates will be invited to an informal remote interview.
