Looking into working with us at Atlas Translations?
We are a small but busy team working out of our offices in St Albans and Exeter, offering interesting careers at Atlas Translations. Atlas employ part-time staff and encourage flexible working. We offer working from home and in July 2019 we introduced the four day week to help all staff maintain a healthier work/life balance. And we didn’t reduce their salaries.
Childcare vouchers, NEST pension, bottomless tea and coffee, paid holiday and bank holidays are standard. We do not require any overtime and believe in a good work/other life balance. There is a monthly bonus scheme based on office turnover. A second bonus is paid based on individual projects. AND there is a quarterly bonus for the highest performing project manager.
During the COVID 19 pandemic, all of our staff are safely working from home. We are not recruiting any staff at this time.
We like cake and one will usually appear for a birthday or other legitimate excuse.
If you want to find out about us and careers at Atlas Translations, this website, our blogs and social media are great places to start. We are active members of our local business communities in Hertfordshire and Devon. Being communicators, we will talk to anyone about translation and the language business. You might meet us at an exhibition, at a careers fair, talking at a university careers evening or at the Language Show. Suppliers can sign up to attend our suppliers lunch which we hold twice a year. This is a free event, anyone can attend, even if you have not worked with us yet.
Staff tend to stay at Atlas for quite a while, but if you’d like to hear about any vacancies, please drop a line to Jim. Make it personal, and attach your CV. We will keep it, and we will let you know if something crops up. We don’t have any vacancies at the moment, but we never know when we might have something coming up.
If you are looking for a placement or internship, please visit this page. During the COVID 19 pandemic we are pausing our placement scheme, as placements are office-based.
If you want to work with us on a freelance basis, please, do not just send us a CV – you need to apply online here after you have read up on the best way to work out if we are a good fit with each other.
