Celebrating Our Fantastic Supplier Network of Translators, Interpreters, and More

Here at Atlas Translations, our work is driven by a network of experienced, professional, and highly qualified translators and interpreters. We believe that this network has created a thriving working environment for everyone involved and is crucial to our success. This blog celebrates our fantastic supplier network of translators, interpreters, and more by highlighting the initiatives and practices that we hope make Atlas Translations a great place to collaborate.

Building A Network at Our Supplier Open Days

Our Supplier Open Days are held twice a year in St. Albans, home of our head office. These events, complete with an abundance of coffee, cake and more, provide a fantastic opportunity for all our language professionals to come together and build connections.

What Happens at Our Open Days?

  • Networking
    • A chance for translators and interpreters to meet and share experiences.
  • Industry Insights
    • Discussions about the latest trends and developments in the translation industry.
  • Community Building
    • Getting to know each other on a personal level and fostering a sense of community.

These Supplier Open Days are not just about business; they’re about creating a supportive and encouraging atmosphere where we try to make everyone feel valued and appreciated.

Positive Payment Practices

One of the many reasons our suppliers love working with us is our commitment to fair and prompt payments. Atlas Translations understands the importance of timely compensation for the work done by our suppliers.

As a translation agency, we could not function without our fantastic network of translators, interpreters, and more, so being fair and paying invoices on time is one of our top priorities.

Our Commitment to Prompt Payment

May 2023 saw Atlas Translations become a Signatory of the Prompt Payment Code (PPC). The PPC is a voluntary code established in 2008 and administered by the Small Business Commissioner. It sets rules for business payment practices, such as paying invoices on time.

Commitments of the signatories of the PPC are:

  • Pay suppliers on time and within agreed terms
  • Give clear guidance to suppliers on terms, dispute resolution and prompt notification of late payment
  • Support good practices throughout their supply chain by encouraging the adoption of the Code

Through transparent communication we strive to ensure an open and clear dialogue with our supplier network regarding payment schedules and practices. By adhering to the principles of the PPC, we aim to not only foster trust but also contribute to the financial stability and satisfaction of our suppliers.

Translation Professionals You Can Trust

Our suppliers come from all over the world, bringing with them a wealth of cultural knowledge and expertise. Whether it’s proofreading services, voiceover work, live interpreting, or any other translation service, our suppliers deliver top-quality work in any setting.

All our suppliers work in their native languages, which makes sure that all work is authentic and accurate. Along with native language skills, our suppliers can have linguistic specialisms and sector specific work expertise, allowing us to match clients with translators who understand the specific demands of each project.

Our rigorous selection process guarantees that our clients receive the best possible service, tailored to their unique needs.
